Prayers for our Parents Health

I am shocked by the number of my friends who’s parents are going through life threatening health issues right now.  God gave us parents to lead us to guide us and to  help us grow.  So when our  parents are ill  or  worse we the children are seriously affected.  I personally have been dealing with my dad’s life threatening health until recently as well. (My dad is doing much better and out of danger now.)  We have a  good God. A Loving Father God who cares about us and our loved ones! Jeremiah 31:3 My prayers go out to all Families right now dealing with the this. Don’t let the devil make you forget who your God is! Revelation 1:8

There comes a time for everyone to move as my family calls it. If you have peace that it is their time to go Then I pray that they go peacefully and  in loving comfort  wrapped in Gods arms.   Isaiah 54:10 (NIV) Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.   And – For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

But if it is not their time to  go yet and the fight is on –  I pray for your and your parents health in Jesus name! I Claim-Isaiah 53: 5 overall! I pray for restoration and miracles to happen that bring God all the Glory. I pray that no matter what you need that you know God is working behind the scenes and He will provide you with your needs. -Philippians 4:19  Take the Authority the Holy Spirit gives you Luke 10:19 and Rebuke the Devil and claim the everlasting Life God promises. John 10 : 10.

There is always  a battle going on Ephesians 6:12 (KJV) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Be it at work, with people, or with ourselves…  We are  always fighting off the devils lies. It is important to know what God says.  We need to dig our roots into the word of  God (may main purpose for this blog) And we need to always wear our battle armor!  so that we are equipped  to fight off the Devils attacks Because he is always attacking us in one way or another.

Ephesians 6:10-18

God bless you today and always!

Have a Servant’s Heart

Dear Friends,

We Christians are called to have a Servant’s heart. A servant heart is a precious gift.  A heart after people, a heart of Love. I am often reminded of how even Jesus washed feet of his disciples. (Matthew 26:14-39; Luke 22:24-27; John 13:1-17) It takes a lot to set aside your self to serve others. And even Jesus Did it! I am not saying go wash some ones feet. I am saying we are called to serve others, And God will bless you more it. When you serve, you are taking time to show others how important and special they are. That’s Love. I was once asked “Even in serving aren’t you being selfish still? Because you’re doing it expecting something.” Yes I’m expecting God to work through me to bless you. Or whomever I’m led to serve… I write and pour out my heart you you all. Because I truly care about you. (Does that make me selfish. Maybe… But if so I think in a good way.) That love I have only grew as I gave my life to God’s will. Your pastor is a Servant. It takes a strong person to serve. Because it’s not a easy job. a servant gives up a lot, such as: free will, pride, wants, control, even some freedom. You don’t have to do all that, maybe God has not called you to be a servant. But we all serve from time to time. next time you do ask yourself. Is my heart in the right place as I do this. Below are some more Bible verses on having a servant’s heart…

Merry Christmas 2013

I wish you, no matter where you are or, who you are with A wonderful Christmas!! And A Blessed New Year!!!

This is my favored time of year for many reasons Such as: The weather and the fact that I love the holiday season.  Thanksgiving through New Year’s… All because of: the giving, sharing, thankfulness, anticipation of new, beginnings, joy, and so much more in the air. I love the lights, the trees, the food, and most of all the family you generally get to spend time with. Family,  close friends and relatives.. (Usually)

Sadly though, this time of year brings stress, anger, and loneliness to a lot of people. This is the first year in a  a couple of years I have not felt so lost in emotions…. We all worry about if we have enough time to do what we want to do, do we have enough money, will our friends and families enjoy our efforts. And then there are those of us who do not have the pleasure of having people in our lives to share this time with and it brings out anger, resentment, and deepens the loneliness and pain. I know this all too well over the past few years for sure. They have been hard… I barely celebrated. But there is something really special. No matter what every Christmas Eve.. I get filled with this amazing peace and my heart fills with unexplainable thankfulness and all. I find myself staring at the Christmas tree and or lights for hours not thinking anything just in awe… It all started when I awoke from the coma in 1997 Just 2 days before Christmas… Maybe because of the many close encounters with death I am more sensitive to the holidays… This year it wasn’t my closeness with death that was faced. I lost my oldest brother to cancer…. But then in November my youngest sister Got married…. Such a wide variety of emotions….  I know for many this was a very hard year, but many of us have been blessed despite the troubles… Such as my parents finding a house after almost 4 years of searching… It never amazes me what God can do….. I know next year I and many others, feel it will be a year of closure and togetherness.. I am looking forward to that tho I feel the past few years have gone by way to fast… I hope to share some good things with you in the future tho. Like some books in the next year!!!

I wish you, no matter where you are or, who you are with A wonderful Christmas!! It is not about the Receiving, it’s about the joy of togetherness, the Giving of love and companionship… So many I know have been blessed with wonderful mates while others are still alone.. Our time will come singles! God’s timing is perfect and He or she will be exactly what we need… And more then we could ever want!!

This was supposed to be a sweet note of love, sorry I went on…   I pray if you don’t know Jesus yet you take the opportunity to ask into your heart tonight…  Don’t waste time waiting for the right moment or to be perfect. He loves you as you are and there is no better timing then now…  Having a relationship with Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit is the best Gift I could share with anyone… God after all gave the best Gift Jesus… And that is what Christmas is all About… Celebrating his Birth, His life, and His Death so that we may be free of the chains of sin and be blessed with Eternal life!!!   It’s easy just read this out loud.

“Dear Heavenly Father, I acknowledge I need you. (You do need Him) I welcome you Jesus into my heart, for you are the way and the truth and the light. (John 14:6)  Please forgive me of my sins and be a part of my life form now on.. Thank you Amen”       Now go tell  someone what you did.

John 10:10

The devil comes to steal form you, to Kill you, and to Destroy you, but I come to bring you life and to bring it Abundantly.

You are Loved,

Hungry

Hungry

I have notice so many people are hungry now days. Not hungry by the lack of food, but emotionally, mentally, and physically.  People are searching for something that will fill where they are lacking.  But in things that won’t really help.  Such as: Sex, alcohol, gambling, false idols.

We as the human race are at the time of major changes personally and globally.  Change is hard and so many people are looking for something to cling to sustain them, especially, now around the holidays.

I noticed around Christmas I begin to think about the year past, all I didn’t accomplish, achieve, and am still lacking… I specifically seem to dwell on failures and what I don’t have yet in my life. For example, I should have a book done by now, I wish I had my boyfriend here to share the holidays with. As a result; I get more sensitive, cranky, and lonely….

But then Christmas Eve rolls around and I become extremely thankful for what I have, and all that has happened, and those in my life….   The holiday’s takes a toll on us: Families, friends, money, gifts you want to give and get, trying to prepare the perfect atmosphere for a few days…..  It can be very overwhelming…  One becomes desperate, anxious, hungry…..  It just has to be “PERFECT”.

This year more than other years I realize people seem more then desperate, they are starving for acknowledgment, closeness, success, achievement.. Yet most are going the wrong way. Instead of turning to God, they are running to what they think will fill the void, only to find it growing deeper…

I have also realized that Christmas is one month out  of the year, better yet  only for my family about 36 hours of festivities… Then next we bring in the New Year, and the cycle starts over….  Nothing really changes……

This year I am choosing to skip the pity party that seem to have already started and go straight to that thankful atmosphere. By doing so, I lose a lot of wasted time, and by choosing to be happy, I hope I can help others be happy around me…. But it starts with a choice. I have to choose to change. It is not going to be easy, but nothing really worth it is easy… I am not going to dig a hole and burrow in my emotions; instead I am asking God for hand up, and joy to replace the stress, grief, loneliness, and frustration….

I am filling up on God’s word, I am eating the preaching’s of the pastors I love and drinking in the scriptures my friends are sharing…  I am not close to becoming full yet, but I am also not starving anymore, not in the way I was before.  I wish I could feed everyone this way too. So that they will not be hungry anymore! I pray for all the lost sheep out there. The people who don’t know what they are looking for…

I want to be a good example of Christ and who He is, so that the hungry people around me can be fed…

I urge you to look to God to fill   your plate. Not the internet, not the tv, not shopping, nor in other people. What you’re looking for can only be found in one place…  In Christ! I do not know how to explain it however once you let Christ in your life changes and you no longer fill empty, if you truly let Him in… I still feel lonely, not in the same way…

Don’t wait till Christmas to unwrap this Gift. It’s yours now, waiting with your name on it. For God so loved YOU, He gave His only Begotten son, Jesus Christ, so that who so ever believes in Him, shall have everlasting life. ~ John 3:16

If you already have Him in your heart I suggest you reevaluate your relationship and do as I am and submerse yourself in His word! Give yourself the best Christmas of all, and remember the reason for the season. He is the greatest comfort!

God Bless you,

Merry Christmas~

A New Song, Is Published!

Hello My friends and Family,

I am so excited to tell you “A New Song” Has finally Been published!!!

I am not sure where to start. When I was asked to contribute to this book, I became excited at the opportunity to share my story, God’s story! But as I actually sat down to write it, I became afraid, that I would not be able to convey the message properly and that I could disappoint those who may be expecting me to write a masterpiece. I am presently struggling with some books that I also am writing. I am sure God is using this opportunity as a push. He is telling me to just do it, while using this opportunity to boost my confidence too. I know God wants me to share this story in any way that I can. He is opening new doors daily, not just for me but for you as well. We just need to walk through them – even if at times we have to crawl through. Whatever it takes for us to move forward, keep growing, and to help others do the same.

Any ways! Here is a note from the main editor, with the book Poster below.

All I am, Because of You!

I am all I am because of You, my Lord!

Oh my Father, where would I be if not for you? Who would I be with out you? I am all I am, because of you! “For God so loved the world, He gave His only, begotten (beloved), son (Jesus), so that whom soever believes in Him (Jesus) shall have everlasting life. ~John 3:16  Such a powerful confession of Love for us humans… That the ALL POWERFUL, ALMIGHTY, ALPHA and OMEGA, would give up his only son, his most beloved, so that we can be with Him for all eternity!!  How could I say no to that??? How could you deny such a love…?? Easy!! I don’t deserve it…… I know I don’t I am imperfect… But he loves me because of our imperfections. Because we need Him, because He first loved us!  For he loves us with unfailing love; the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever. Praise the Lord! ~Psalms 117:2.

Lets start with the Beginning, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ~John 1:1 Going from there, knowing he is the amazing God that created Earth, and us… And reading all about the creation of earth and all it’s being in first chapters of  Genesis we see proof that what God says, Happens. And it is true. So if The ALMIGHTY God, says He loves me. Who am I to question it??? If I do, doesn’t that mean I am questioning who God is? And not trusting in Him?? Oh what a fool I would be not to trust in Him… It is easy for me to say but for you it may not be…

It is easy for me to say, because ALL I AM, is BECAUSE OF HIM!! Yes there is bad in the world, and  bad things happen…. (read previous posts) But it is not God’s doing… He doesn’t cause Bad. He is a LOVING God….  I don’t know why he allows bad to happen sometimes, or maybe we tie his hands so He can’t help…. But with in every bad situation there is and can be Good. And it can be turned around… One of the things I question most is why does he take his children early sometimes… I knew an amazing woman who moved to heaven at a young age, She was an amazing example of a person overflowing with God’s love. And touched every one’s lives. Marget was such a blessing to this world and it shook mine when she moved. But I know it was for a reason. Though I do not know the reason, I trust He has a grand plan.

I have been through stuff I would not wish on any human, health wise, and emotionally. And I know, it could have been much worse, and others have suffered even greater pains. But I also know during those times, God was with me. His peace, His healing, His strength, His LOVE never left me. And yet they grew stronger. And because of All He is, and what I suffered,  I grew to become the amazing woman that I am. I  have had life experiences that I can use to help others, and because I know how God has been there the whole time,  I can share that too… I’ll be honest I have been very mad at God for allowing the health issues. But because He is always there to Fix them, and He has, I can move forward. I had a stoke at age 25 It was my second one. This time I was aware of it. Because I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant to a woman named Halie Brown. An Amazing woman, but she had many mini stokes and TIA’s (Transient Ischemic Attack) I knew what the symptoms were.  So when I woke up form a nap one day I knew I was having a stoke. Not a TIA, I was very scared.I could not use my main hand like I should be able too..  I went to the hospital, but the check in nurse didn’t believe me and was trying to move me along. So I started praying out loud, yet I was loosing the ability to speak now… THEN she believed me and rushed me back.  I cried out to God! “HEAL ME LORD!! I just started the book you told me to write, you can’t end it like this for me. I have dreams, Goals, wants…..”  And He did!!!  With in seven day I was completely back to normal. He healed me when I cried out, though it took a while. I was also able to witness to people and bless others stuck in the hospital.. I didn’t want the stoke, but good came out of it…… He used it to deepen my walk with Him and to Bless others… I am who I am because of these situations. I grew up faster then most children, and I have a different perspective of the world and of people then what is called normal, I call it a worldly way of thinking. I mean that nicely… I have found it utterly inpossinble for some one who does not know God to think of others easy, or to grasp what’s really important. Though there are some….. MOVING ON…

I read the book of Genesis Chapters 37-45 http://bibleresources.bible.com/passagesearchresults.php?passage1=Genesis+37&passage2=&passage3=&passage4=&passage5=&version1=9&version2=0&version3=0&version4=0&version5=0&Submit.x=0&Submit.y=0 It is the story of Joseph and the Coat of Many colors… Which in it’s self has meaning…  It is a good story about a man who trusts the Lord with all his heart, and though bad things keep befalling him, he keeps trusting in God. Thus God is able to bless him and return all he has lost… It is an excellent reminder God has a master plan! He made us! And as long as we trust in Him, and LET him Love us, we can become amazing people, and change the lives of those all around us for the better.. I wanna make the world a better place, I want to spread God’s Love, I want to be all HE, The all Mighty God, made me to be… Because I would be NOTHING, with out him. I would be lost, maybe a sex, drug addict, or dead….. But I am not Because I have him, I am LOVED, I have an amazing Family, and Wonderful friends!! I am so blessed…. And I want to help you see how blessed you are, and how amazing you are because of God’s Love, his care for you.. Please take a few minuests, hours, or days if you need to and re-think your life, what is important to  you, and what God has done and has protected you from.. LET His Love pour out on you!!!

“I cried out to God and He responded with such love. I was strengthened and renewed… I was blind but now I can see… I was ill but am now whole!! All true to me. God is so good!! I am so blessed to be loved by such an amazing God, that he cares enough for me to fill my desires before I ask, and my needs are always taken care of… Thank you my Lord!!! My cup is full and running over!!”

THANK YOU LORD, for making me Who I am today!!!

A few Questions & Answers

Is it just me or does it seem harder to vocalize your faith now days.. It seems a lot of people now days are hating Christians… I know the bible says it is inevitable, but that makes it a bit harder to express God’s love. Especially when the ones who need to know they are loved the most hate the even mention of Faith.. And God…

So I was wondering how do you get around it?   Personally I just love them and I try and live a good example. One of the best examples is when I mess up and I get caught (Don’t do that on purpose) Like when I say a curse word which is rare, or when I get mad. They say “I thought you were a Christian.” And I reply “I am, but I am also human. God loves me no matter what and that is one of the reasons I am living for him.

Anther question I have been asked is “Does God Love Every One”     Yes God does. He sent his only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross, to be beaten and whipped for us. “John 3:16” the full book of John is all about Jesus..

“Does God love Even Murders and Child Abusers”  Yes… Love and like are two totally different things. I LOVE my family but I definitely don’t like them all the time.. I don’t think God dislikes any one but I do know he dislikes our actions when we go against the ten Commandments. Exodus chapter 20. But that does not mean he does not LOVE them. Every one is held accountable for there actions, and every one will have to ask for forgiveness some time or another. If we do not that that is between God and the person. Do you haven to love every one no. Should we.. I think so.. Does that mean we do. No.. And we should not let people off for harming others..  But I feel we should pray for them I wish no one time in Hell. Though I did at one point. A man who abused my baby sister for a while.  But God dealt with me. I don’t wish him eternal damnation.. But I also do not like him.. And am glad he is out of our lives where ever he lives now..

How and Where, Do You Pray?

How and Where, Do You Pray?

I ask you this honestly? Do you do it with clasped hands, entwined fingers, or folded arms?  Do you pray on your knees, against a bed or a chair; standing; or on your face on the floor? Do you pray while crying, when walking, while driving, or when doing a chore maybe?  Do you always know what to say? Or do you have a hard time finding the right words…  I know for me all the above counts… I pray constantly and in all situation and places. I even pray when shopping, during a movie, or out to dinner with friends.

Prayer is such an important part of our relationship to God. It can sometimes be very difficult. But at times it can be very easy too…  I find it most hard when I feel I should pray, as if I were forced to. But that is so rare for me…. Because I pray a lot, sometimes very passionately and personally, and other times quick thank you and I love you, to my Father who has made all and taken care of all.

To me prayer to Father God, Jesus is like talking to a best friend, to someone who loves me with un-ending love. To someone who accepts me as who I am and still wants the best for me.  Humans, people I love here my friends and family are important to me but I know they do not like all of me or wish they could change me somehow.. But God takes me as I am and with that knowledge I want to be better for him. There are people in my life who aspire me the same way. But I am far from perfect and I feel so bad when I mess up. I want to hide, lock myself away so no one can see me. Especially if it is something I think was very important that I think I failed at.  But there He is, my God with open arms ready for me to go to him for comfort and strength, and most important forgiveness.   And when I am not down I go to him for wisdom, authority against evil, and joyful thanksgiving in my heart.

How about you? How do you Pray, and where? Take a few minutes to think that over then continue to read.

If you do now know where to start, if praying to God, Jesus is not something you find easy then this is all you need to know. He gave us a prayer to pray that covers it all. Which is below.  And as for the where that does not matter. The only thing that does matter is that you have a relationship with our Faher God his son Jesus.

The Prayer is called:

“The Lord’s Prayer”

Matthew 6:9-13: New King James Version

9In this manner therefore pray ye:

Our Father who art in Heaven,

hallowed be Thy name.

10Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth,

as it is in Heaven.

11Give us this day our daily bread.

12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the Kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

God bless you today and always!

The Power of Prayer!

I just got done reading “This Present Darkness” and it was such a faith building book. If you have never read it I suggest you do. It was a great reminder of how powerful Prayer is. Which is something one should never forget. Prayer is important. It helps build our foundation in faith. Payer what Jesus gave us, we pray using our spirit man. Prayer is our tool and weopon against Evil. I have a bumper sticker on my truck that says “Prayer Changes Everything”  and that is 1oo% true. Even when we can not see the difference, or the change takes time. Prayer is not always easy too, sometimes it is hard, and sometimes we may not know what to say. But that is where our faith, and spirit man kick in.

Ephesians 6:13-18: Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Psalms 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Also when we pray it is important that we take time after to be silent and listen. We may not get answers right away but God gives us words of wisdom and guidance.

I hope this helps you with your prayer life, and has inspired you. It has been on my heart since I started the book and now I finally expressed it. God bless you today and always!

God’s Purpose for Your Life: Don’t live with out trying!

God’s Purpose for Your Life: Don’t live with out trying!

I don’t want to go through the motions; I don’t want to live with out trying. How often do we make promises to ourselves that we don’t keep? How often do we give up before we try? I don’t want to do that any more. I want to live for God 100% not because I have to, but because of all he has done for me. And for what he does daily for us the human race.

Every day is a new miracle. A new piece of art; a new day; a new chance! No matter how it is. Rain or Shine there is good in it. We are blessed. And I want to share the blessing with you and others I may meet. God is good. He is a loving Father. He sent his son to earth for you. Jesus spilled his blood for you. I am so thankful to be alive even with all the bad I have gone through. I want to share God’s love, so that every one has a chance to accept Christ, and go to heaven. I don’t want any one to miss out on this amazing feeling. I want every one to be blessed. Yes every one. God loves us all! No matter what you did or who you are. He wants you to know that! Be thankful and welcome him in your heart. He is waiting with open arms.

So the Lesson tonight is: God’s Purpose for Your Life

The Father’s greatest desire is for you to have a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. Once you have accepted Jesus into your heart. Once you have received God’s forgiveness, and His love.  Then you are ready to fulfill the rest of His plan for your life. Your destiny will unfold as you obey the daily prompting and guiding of the Holy Spirit.

The details of where He leads each believer will vary, and He rarely gives any of us a complete picture of our destiny. However, God desires at least three things for every Christian. We will cover the first one tonight.

1. To know God’s Word.

The best way to know the Father is to read about Him and what He has to say.

If we don’t neglect reading Scripture.

Ephesians 4:14 Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us ,with lies so clever they sound like the truth.

What benefits can we receive from studying and applying the Word of God?

2 Tim. 3:16-17 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

Our minds are renewed as we read the Bible. In other words, God transforms our thought patterns so that they honor Him. How does this help us spiritually?

Rom. 12:1-2 And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.[b] 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Some more Verses for your walk and encouragement:

Luke 1:45 And blessed is he /she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord

Luke 12:37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Jeremiah 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

Daniel 2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:
