You are not Invisible

45498055_1204178496387186_5224031364222812160_n

At times you may think you are invisible, alone, that no one can see you and no one cares. Especially with the lock downs and chaos going on in the world and in our country. Well, you are wrong! Maybe you lost loved ones, maybe it seems like your world is falling apart, or maybeyoufeel lost. You may very well be. I know for us personally it seems to be that way for us for various reasons.

To top it off, our country has been at a cyber cival war amist the Covid crisis… People attacking people over big and small issues. Missunderstandings and hate crimes are happing all over the world. Not just in the USA… In all my years I have not seen our country and people as divided as we are now….

This division has caused fear and anger to grow amongst the feelings that we people were already dealing with. Some people are out and about trying to get thier lives back. Even with the crazy resrtaints being forced on us more now then before when Covid first started. For otheres they are becoming more secluded away without other people. Becoming hermits and surviving via online shopping. Various by choice, others without opinions.

Having to stay apart and the drama going on- love, compassion, hugs and affection are becoming harder to receive. Yet alone to give. Why? I seriously want you to think about that. Why do you think? How does all this make you feel and how are you responding to the situations?

Personally I believe that fear is the main culprit. Fear of false truths, fear of lack of knowledge, fear of being forced into something, fear of being left out, fear of pain, fear of Covid, fear of the unknown, fear of not being noticed, fear of failure, fear of not doing what you should, fear of standing out to much, of being invisible, fear of death and so much more. Fear is a powerful weapon. Fear can be physically crippling. What does God say about fear?

✞ John 10:10 (King James Version) The thief comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy: I am come so that they might have life, and that they might have it abundantly.

✞ John 10:11-12 (New Living Translation) “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep. A hired hand will run when he sees a wolf coming. He will abandon the sheep because they don’t belong to him and he isn’t their shepherd. And so the wolf attacks them and scatters the flock.

✞ 2 Timothy 2:1 (King James Version) Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

✞ Joshua 1:9 (NIV) “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

✞Zephaniah 3:17 (NLT) “For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”

✞ Deuteronomy 28:12-14 (NIV) The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.

✞ Isaiah 41:10 (NIV) So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

✞Romans 8: 38-39 (NKJV) “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

✞ Hebrews 13:5-6 (NASV) “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,” so that we confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. “What will man do to me?”

✞ Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Now that’s deep! In short that means-

It’s true you do, and you are not alone. Not only is God on your side but so are many others. Maybe not physically in person but in prayer!

✞Thessalonians 5:11 (ESV) Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

✞ Matthew 18:20 (NIV) For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.

If you are not sure how to pray. Think of talking to a parent, or better yet a bestfriend and say what is on your heart ❤

Also The Lord’s Prayer works too…

✞ Matthew 7:7-8 (KJV) Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (

✞ Hebrews 13:5-6 (NIV) “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,” so that we confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. “What will man do to me?”

Don’t forget to put on your spiritual armor as well!

God bless you today and always!

Do not be afraid to ask

Please watch this short video message before reading the rest of the message below. Thanks!

Before we dig in: For more info what happened to me. I posted blogs on: https://wordpress.com/post/amyjanesandberg.com/ and https://deeplyrootedinhim.net/2019/08/11/that-did-not-go-as-i-planned

Now – Asking God for help isn’t always easy. Espessily if you do not believe, in God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit. Why bother asking? I believe in Jesus, I do not believe I would be alive if it wasn’t for Him. LITERALLY! There have been so many close calls…

However, even if you do believe, you may still struggle for several other reasons. Such as these: 1- It is an issue you have been dealing with for a long time. 2- It feels like it is too small a concern to bother God with. 3- You may have no idea where to start or how to ask. 4- You may not feel worthy enough to ask. I could go on, but only you know what it is holding you back from asking. GratefullyRestored and I have been talking a lot about standing in faith and overcoming obstacles and trials you may be faced with. That starts with asking God for help. When we do that we are submitting our issues and saying “Okay God, Jesus, Holy Spirit – please help me! I give my stress and burdens to you. I trust you to take care of me!” It is not easy to admit we need help, but that isn’t admitting defeat. Instead, think of it as calling in the troops and saying let’s get this done!

Let me say this… God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit love you. I believe in Love. Love is powerful! Love makes a huge difference! Know you are loved and the fact that I believe Jesus died for everyone – no matter what race, gender, or choices you make. John 3:16 Then why wouldn’t He want to answer your need, your prayer, your request? Hmm? It is up to you what you do with that knowledge. It is not my place to tell you what to do. It’s your life and your choice. I do want to say tho – Miracles are real, You are loved, and you are not alone if you don’t wanna be. I have hope and faith in my Father God. That gives me strength trusting that they’re out there with me and looking out for me. When you are desperate and you don’t know what to say just call out to Jesus… “Jesus… I need you! Jesus!!!” It is as easy as that.

📖 Bible Verses:

✞ Psalms 104 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalms+104&version=NLT

✞Matthew 6:26-34 (New King James Version) Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

✞ Matthew 7:7-8 (King James Version) Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (King James Version)

✞ Psalm 37:4 (New International Version) Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

✞ Hebrews 13:5-6 (New American Standard Version) “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,” so that we confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. “What will man do to me?”

✞ John 3:16 (TheLivingBible) For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son[a] so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

✞ John 10:10 (King James Version) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

✞ John 10:11-12 (New Living Translation) “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep. 12 A hired hand will run when he sees a wolf coming. He will abandon the sheep because they don’t belong to him and he isn’t their shepherd. And so the wolf attacks them and scatters the flock. (New Living Translation)

✞ Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version) For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

✞ 2 Timothy 2:1-2 (King James Version) You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.

✞ 2 Timothy 1:7 (King James Version) God hath not given us the spirit of fear ; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

✞ Romans 8:28 (New International Version) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

✞ Isaiah 53:1-7 (TheLivingBible) But, oh, how few believe it! Who will listen? To whom will God reveal his saving power? In God’s eyes[a] he was like a tender green shoot, sprouting from a root in dry and sterile ground. But in our eyes there was no attractiveness at all, nothing to make us want him. We despised him and rejected him—a man of sorrows, acquainted with bitterest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way when he went by. He was despised, and we didn’t care. Yet it was our grief he bore, our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, for his own sins! But he was wounded and bruised for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace; he was lashed—and we were healed! We—every one of us—have strayed away like sheep! We, who left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet God laid on him the guilt and sins of every one of us! He was oppressed and he was afflicted, yet he never said a word. He was brought as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he stood silent before the ones condemning him.

✞ Deuteronomy 28:12-14 (New International Version) The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.

✞ Isaiah 41:10 (New International Version) So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Have a Servant’s Heart

Dear Friends,

We Christians are called to have a Servant’s heart. A servant heart is a precious gift.  A heart after people, a heart of Love. I am often reminded of how even Jesus washed feet of his disciples. (Matthew 26:14-39; Luke 22:24-27; John 13:1-17) It takes a lot to set aside your self to serve others. And even Jesus Did it! I am not saying go wash some ones feet. I am saying we are called to serve others, And God will bless you more it. When you serve, you are taking time to show others how important and special they are. That’s Love. I was once asked “Even in serving aren’t you being selfish still? Because you’re doing it expecting something.” Yes I’m expecting God to work through me to bless you. Or whomever I’m led to serve… I write and pour out my heart you you all. Because I truly care about you. (Does that make me selfish. Maybe… But if so I think in a good way.) That love I have only grew as I gave my life to God’s will. Your pastor is a Servant. It takes a strong person to serve. Because it’s not a easy job. a servant gives up a lot, such as: free will, pride, wants, control, even some freedom. You don’t have to do all that, maybe God has not called you to be a servant. But we all serve from time to time. next time you do ask yourself. Is my heart in the right place as I do this. Below are some more Bible verses on having a servant’s heart…
