There’s A Storm Appon Us

There’s a heavy weight over our country and it is pretty clear we are in the mist of a big storm. No matter what side you are on, or not on. It is undeniable. The wind is howling,  the thunder is rolling and the lightning is crackling! Not just physically,  we can all see the challenges and chaos. Not just politics but also physically, mentally and emotionally. We are indeed involved a major spiritual battle. There is no questionable doubt of that. Prayer warriors  we are being  called to the battlefield to pray like never before for not just our country but also the world. To pray for all. Saved and not saved.

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” ~1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Amen! Why rejoice? Because God is love , He is in Control, and with Him there is victory! “For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” ~Deuteronomy 20:4 Again doing this is not an easy task. Especially when everything isn’t normal. But what is normal, and why should things be normal? True growth comes from stepping out of your comfort zone and thinking outside of the box. At least from my experience I see this statement as truth. Heck my life has never been normal tho…

Each battle is  unique  just like the one that we are currently  facing. We have to  put on our spiritual armor and face our spiritual  Goliath!

(Ephesians 6: 11-18)

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” ~2 Chronicles 7:14

Thanksgiving and Prayer -Ephesians 1:15-23: “For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people,  I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.  I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.  I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,  and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength  he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,  far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.  And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church,  which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.”

I was raised that our words and our actions matter… That we have to be productive, and responsible. We have to be people of our word, loyal, honest, and examples of Jesus’s love. Why? Because it is right – Because it makes a difference and Because it is what would Horner God. He sent Jesus His so for us to be blessed out of love.

We are to treat others how we wish to be treated. You say you may not care… But I thinks you do… No-one likes being neglected and treated poorly. “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” ~Ephesians 6:18

I encourage you to seek reasons to smile. Even if the reasons are small. Remind those you care about how much they matter to you as well. Try not to stay angry or hurt others on purpose. Treat others how you wish to be treated. Every day you wake up is gift. It may not be easy but we have to move forward.

We do that one step at a time. We may not be happy and hardships are sure to come. But you can move forward if you choose to. It is harder to let life pass you by and have regrets Don’t live a life of regret and anger. We have to encourage eachother and set good examples of Christ Jesus’s love.

Be sure sisters and brothers in Christ we are being watched and judged. We are humans but we are called to spread the gospel and we can only do so by developing a personal reallationship, truly knowing Jesus as our friend and reading God’s word the Bible.

Thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment if your time to share my thoughts and feelings with you. I am truly grateful for you!

KNOW and Do

Part 1 and 2 videos by Greatfuly Restored: “Know and Do part 1 and Part 2” Uploaded with the YouTube studios app since I’m unable to get on a computer at this time. I will update preview to images and the discretions next week. We didn’t want to wait until next week to share. We also wanted to try something new. Let us know if you like this new close up format vs how it was done before please and thank you!

🎤This isn’t an easy topic to discuss, but because of Jesus, we have a choice to be forgiven and redeemed. God loves you and there is no such thing as a perfect person. You can not earn your way to heaven. It is a choice you make to ever believe or not believe. Once you accept Jesus it cannot be taken away unless you decide you do not believe anymore or if you denounce Jesus. According to the Bible. God knows your heart and it is your personal walk… Ask – Seek – Knock…

📖Bible Verses:

✞ Ephesians 1: 7 (New International Version)
In him, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

✞ Galatians 3:13 – 14 (King James Version)
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

✞ Proverbs 15:24 (New King James Version )
The way of life winds upward for the wise,
That he may turn away from hell below.

✞ Romans 6:23 (English Standard Version)
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

✞ 2 Peter 3: 8-9 New Life Version (NLV)
Dear friends, remember this one thing, with the Lord one day is as 1,000 years, and 1,000 years are as one day. The Lord is not slow about keeping His promise as some people think. He is waiting for you. The Lord does not want any person to be punished forever. He wants all people to be sorry for their sins and turn from them.

✞ John 3:18 (English Standard Version)
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

✞ Colossians 1:12-14 (New International Version)
and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

✞ Romans 10: 9 -10 (New International Version)
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved

✞ John 1:12-13 (New International Version) Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

✞ Matthew 7:7-8 (New International Version)
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

✞ Revelation 3: 20 (Living Bible)
“Look! I have been standing at the door, and I am constantly knocking. If anyone hears me calling him and opens the door, I will come in and fellowship with him and he with me.

✞Isaiah 43:1-3 (New Life Version)
But now the Lord Who made you, O Jacob, and He Who made you, O Israel, says, “Do not be afraid. For I have bought you and made you free. I have called you by name. You are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. When you pass through the rivers, they will not flow over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned. The fire will not destroy you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, Who saves you.

🧩As God Promised Jacob then, He promises it for you now, as well now. The rainbow is Gods Proof that he is for us not against us. That was before Jesus came to think about how much more we have now with Jesus.

🥁 You are Loved and you are blessed and you are redeemed if you wish to be.

✞ Isaiah 40:1-2 (New Life Version)
“Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God. “Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, That her warfare is ended, That her iniquity is pardoned;
For she has received from the Lord’s hand Double for all her sins.”

✞1 Samuel 16: 14 – 23

Pray for our Leaders

✏ I care about what’s going on in the world and I  love my country. I respect the president because the Bibles says to respect your leadership and pray for the leaders. Hate gets you nowhere…No one is perfect… We all have faults. That’s why we pray for our leaders. They have guidance and wisdom to make good choices. It is as simple as that.

▶️1 Peter 2:7 <NLT> “Respect everyone, and love the family of believers. Fear God, and respect the king.” (Meaning respect the leaders/government.)

▶️1 Timothy 1: 2:1-2 <NIV> “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. “

God Knows what is going on and nothing happens without him.

▶️Daniel 2:20-23 <ESV>

“Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding; he reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him. To you, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, for you have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we asked of you, for you have made known to us the king’s matter.”

📍Submission to Governing Authorities

▶️ Titus 3:1-2 <NIV>

“Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good,  to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.”

▶️Romans 13:1-7 <NIV>

“Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.  Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.  For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended.  For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.  Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience. This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing.  Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.”

We need to stand together and pray. Not just for our government, but also each other!

▶️Matthew 12:25 <NLT> Jesus knew their thoughts and replied, “Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A town or family splintered by feuding will fall apart.
