The Ultamete Christmas Gift!

The Ultamete Christmas Gift! magnify
ONLY Three Days Till Christmas!

“Oh My!!!! The stress is really piling up! And there is so much more to do… How will I ever get it done?? I can’t wait till it is over!”

How many of you feel like that? I know I have. For over a week now, and have less barley half my shopping done. I was so stressed about what to get who. So much so I couldn’t think properly and I was getting sick from lack of sleep. On top of that, I knew I should write something. But I didn’t know what until now.

Today I was reminded it is not how much do we do, how much we spend, or how much time we put in to the season and gifts. It is why we do it that matters. It is for the end result that we go thought all the effort of the tasks we do.

The season in the U.S.A. normally starts the day after Thanksgiving. What a wonderful holiday that was.. Most of us cooked, threw a party, attended a party, or went out to dinner. All in order to give thanks (to the Lord) and remembered all the things we are Thankful for. That was nice, was it not. And most of us had started our giving with food. What a great start into such a wonderful season, yes?

It was a nice October and November! The weather has been cool or cold, the air and leaves changed. And then Thanksgiving was over and………………………………………………….

*Fires the Gun*

The sales stared! And off we went! As did the stress! We get so caught up in the “Perfect Gifts” wanting to buy just the right thing to my everyone happy, even when it costs more then we can afford. I know not EVERYONE is like this but this season just about every one I know is going though this stress. To top it all off your normal life is still going on. So while your looking for the perfect gift your having to go to work, and run the standard errands, plus the special “pre-cleaning” – “Out with the old to make room for the new” is happening. And that builds the pressure until it gets to be too much. So when Christmas comes: your like a dried up, burnt piece of toast. Your burnt up in energy, trying to make it the perfect day, while pieces of you fall off, and your to dry to absorb anything that’s is going on around you. How many of these Christmas’s have you experienced? Or any holidays for that matter.

Don’t let your self forget why we go thought all the perorations and planning for this special day. We do it because we LOVE those around us. Because we care enough to show others we appreciate them, even if we do not like them at all times. This is the time of year that is all about Giving, and we give because – God gave to us! He gave us His ONLY begotten son. (Begotten – Unique – one of a kind.) (The most precious gift any of us could ever hope for!!!) So that who ever believes in him shall have everlasting life. – John 3:16

Not only that, but are our sins forgiven! Jesus died on the Cross for us. We are washed clean by his spilled blood.. Consecutively: so that we may come in to our everlasting life. To me that is almost too good to be true. But I believe, the Bible proves it to be true.

*Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

*Psalm-85:2
Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin.

We are so blessed that we do not have to go thought gory sacrifices of animals and or our crops like they did before Jesus came. And that we do not have to go thought others to be forgiven.

*Psalm-32:1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

*Leviticus-4:35
And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

All we have to do is receive Jesus, the ultimate Christmas gift. It is better then that TV. , DVD, iPod, Laptop, Car, ect……. And once we remember the reason for the season. While your doing your last minuet shopping and you’re decorating, take a some time each morning to talk to God and have some praise and worship time, read your Bible. The stress will let up and we can find joy and peace in the giving and the receiving even more then last year. Because it is about the Price Jesus paid for us. It is about the blessed Birth that is and was to save our lives from eternal damnation.

With that thought you should also reach out and save some one’s life with a kind word and the message of God’s Love. And I know their Christmas will be a wonderful one too. Don’t force it on anyone, just plant the seed. Those who plant are not always those who water and grow the harvest. Remember to pray for the person though. That’s the best we can do for anyone and it is priceless c ompared to worldly goods.

Once I remembered why I was “spending all my money” on “the perfect gifts” The shopping task became fun and exciting and less like a chore. And once I relaxed, I realized what would be best to get everyone.

*Hebrews-12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

*Mark-2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee

*Mark-6:6
And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

*2-Corinthians-13:4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.

. That’s all for now,

God Bless you, Merry Christmas, Happy New year, and Thank you for reading.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving Every One!

What is it and why is it so important?

Thanksgiving thought it is celebrated in finding America and the Indians, they would not have set off on the trip had they not wanted to find a place where they could worship God and pray freely. Here is a good article to read about it. Our country is and was founded on the belief God is the Creator and our Father. Most our Presidents have realized this too.

The National Thanksgiving Proclamations

National Thanksgiving Proclamations proclaim thanks for God’s providence in the events of the nation and, as President Washington explained in his Thanksgiving Proclamation, “for the many signal favors of Almighty God” in the lives of the people.

As Congress recognized the importance of Thanksgiving observance, President George Washington issued a national Thanksgiving Proclamation in 1789. He wrote, “Now therefore I do recommend and assign Thursday the 26th day of November next to be devoted by the People of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be—That we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks—for His kind care and protection of the People of this Country…for the signal and manifold mercies, and the favorable interpositions of His Providence which we experienced in the tranquility, union, and plenty, which we have since enjoyed…and also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions—to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually…To promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us—and generally to grant unto all Mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best.”

In 1789 Washington designated a national thanksgiving holiday for the newly ratified Constitution, specifically so that the people may thank God for “affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness” and for having “been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national One now lately instituted, for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed… “

The first official Thanksgiving Proclamation made in America was issued by Henry Laurens as President of the Continental Congress of the United States on December 18, 1777. However, the precursor to the Thanksgiving Proclamation was issued by John Hancock as President of the Continental Congress of the United Colonies and was entitled “Fast Day Proclamation” on March 16, 1776. Six national Proclamations of Thanksgiving were issued in the first thirty years after the founding of the United States of America as an independent federation of States. President George Washington issued two, President John Adams issued two, President Thomas Jefferson made none and President James Madison issued two. After 1815 there were no more Thanksgiving Proclamations.

If it weren’t for Sarah Josepha Hale, the editor of Godey’s Lady’s Book, the popular women’s journal of the 19th century, Thanksgiving Day would not have existed beyond that.

She wrote editorials and lobbied “that the LAST THURSDAY IN NOVEMBER shall be the DAY OF NATIONAL THANKSGIVING for the American people.”

President Lincoln succumbed to her pressure and proclaimed the last Thursday in November a “prayerful day of Thanksgiving.”

Since then every U.S. President has always made an official Thanksgiving Proclamation on behalf of the nation.

“I do therefore invite my fellow citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next, as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens. And I recommend to them that while offering up the ascriptions justly due to Him for such singular deliverance and blessings, they do also, with humble penitence for our national perverseness and disobedience, commend to His tender care all those who have become widows, orphans, mourners or sufferers in the lamentable civil strife in which we are unavoidably engaged, and fervently implore the interposition of the Almighty Hand to heal the wounds of the nation and to restore it as soon as may be consistent with the Divine purposes to the full enjoyment of peace, harmony, tranquillity and Union.” The Collected Works of Abraham Lincoln edited by Roy P. Basler, Volume VI, “Proclamation of Thanksgiving” (October 3, 1863), p. 497.

From Lincoln’s time, fixing the date for Thanksgiving was by Presidential proclamation. In the first year of the Franklin D. Roosevelt presidency, 1933, during the Great Depression, the last Thursday of November fell very close to the end of the month. At that time, there were calls from many business owners for the President to move Thanksgiving one week earlier, in order to allow for a greater number of shopping days between Thanksgiving and Christmas, which they argued, might possibly offset the difficult economic times. Roosevelt did not change the date at the time. However, when the last Thursday in November again fell very late in the month in 1939, he did institute a change, by proclaiming Thanksgiving to be the 4th Thursday in November. The decision sparked wide-spread public discussion, with some Americans following the old “last Thursday in November” scheduling pattern. However, Congress agreed with the President, and by Congressional action in 1941, Thanksgiving is now always celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.

Road Signs

Road Signs magnify

Road Signs

I was on a road trip last week and I was reading all the road signs. Stop, Left turn only, Keep right, Speed limit 55, and ect… And I thought to my self. Wouldn’t life be easier if God gave us clear road signs for our lives? Well…. He does. It is just we are not always open to the idea, we aren’t sure if they are correct, not sure if they are from God, or we point blank ignore them. That’s the problem. Our ears, our eyes, our spirit man is not open to or not trained to see the signs. We have to be obedient to God and take time each day to pray and read the word and then we will have clearer vision of what God wants us to do. It is not always in plain sight but with some interceding with praise and worship it will become clear in time. We need to have a personal relation ship with God for him to have one with us. We have the power to welcome him in or close the door in his face. When we are obedient we open doors. When we do things we know are wrong we are opening the wrong doors and closing the right ones. Don’t give up, keep praying, and Open the right door to the road God has prepared for you!

We have not done this yet, but I am doing it now. If you have not asked Jesus in to your heart it is an easy prayer. “Jesus please come into my life and into my heart, come and fill the void I have inside and light my path with your word and presence. I receive you! In Jesus Name, AMEN!”

If you have Jesus in your heart already but want a closer walk with God, or need prayer for something. (Passion in your walk of faith, a need, ect) Or if you have a Praise report you would like to share. Please email or leave a comment so we can pray with you or rejoice with you. ~Seven Things You need To Do for yourself and Your Family!~

~ Seven Things You need To Do for yourself and Your Family! ~
~ Seven Things You need To Do for yourself and Your Family! ~ magnify
~ Seven Things You need To Do for yourself and Your Family! ~

I have not written in a while. This is going to be a long entry of what I need to say and sadly have not said till now. Please forgive me for neglecting my duties here until now. I suggest you read it over quickly once and once again over the next week. Print it if you can and digest it in pieces. The Share with whomever you can. God’s word is not a secret. Share us and His word with all who want to know Him and His son Jesus better.

Recently I stated a new church and with that my passion for God has greatly increased. It is not because of any one human but of the strength in the word and oft for herself, where she may have her young— a place near your altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God.

▸ Proverbs 3:33 The LORD’s curse is on the house of the wicke God. I leaning studding, and avidly applying myself to God. So that I am his servant completely even when it is hard. (Another lesson for another time) With that, He has re-awoke the passion I had before and it is stronger then ever before now. Thank you Father!

As a result I have been surrounding myself with the word of God, and other believers a lot more lately. I Have been watching John Hagee’s series the “Rebuilding the Gates” most mornings, I watched the movie “Facing the Giants”, “Love Comes Softly” and “Prince Caspian” this week. Why is this relevant? I leaned different things from each of these movies that applies to real life which is what I am going to talk with you today.

Know your self, who you are, what you stand for, your thoughts, your words, and your sins.

We are, well I am a Christian living in a world full of sin. We are surrounded by sins and sin ourselves, we cannot ignore that no matter how much we want to. It is truly to the point where I cry for my loved ones and ones who do not know God, Jesus, and ones I have never met or may meet one day. I cry inside when I see people in pain, in need. And I pray! It surrounds us, me. All I did was pray for many years, not knowing how or what I could do to help. Well it is time now to step into battle and not only pray but reach out to those in need. In any way we, I can.

1. The first step to change is knowing who you are and admitting to what you know is wrong in your life. If you cannot do that now I hope you can latter on. We all have our faults, it is a part of being human. If we were perfect, we would not need God or Jesus which will never be true.

2. The next step is to find out what and who you stand for. If you do not know I suggest you find out.

You’re either going to heaven or hell. You have eternal life either way, how you want to spend it is the question. A very easy question for me, I choose eternal love and peace of my Father God! It is not an easy walk but one worth walking. I will talk more about this another time, now is not the time.

3. Third lets take a look into what we watch, what we see, what we say, and what we hear. It all matters. The right words, visions, sounds, can effect us for the better. The same can be said for the worst. So it is important we guard ourselves. Epically in this day of age.

Let me go into details on how I am changing my life and how you can change yours.

“Sinning is pleasant and sugar coated like a sugar daddy, sweet and chewy but sticks in your mouth and is hard to get rid of, with a horrid after taste. Living by the word is hard but rewarding like a Jawbreaker, a little sour, unchewable till the almost center and a sweet taste awaits the long struggle.” ~Amy Jane S.

▸ Ezekiel 12:2 “Son of man, you are living among a rebellious people. They have eyes to see but do not see and ears to hear but do not hear, for they are a rebellious people.

▸ Ezekiel 40:4 The man said to me, “Son of man, look with your eyes and hear with your ears and pay attention to everything I am.

▸ Matthew 13:15 For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’

▸ Isaiah 6: 9&10 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

2. Guard your eyes from evil.

We do not always realize what we are doing can be a sin until after it is done or half way into it. For example; watching something like “Supernatural”. A very good story but very dark! Evil I is every where in it, the one good thing about it is the constant fight for good, yet evil always seems to win the overall battle some how, even when the good won the victory. What is that saying to the viewers? Evil is every where in reality we just don’t acknowledge it very well. We need to guard eyes. What we allow into our minds!

Our mind is very powerful, as is our flesh. Control our mind and we can control our flesh. Sadly they both will always be at battle with our spirit. But we have the power to control them. When you start watching something you know is not unto God no matter how pleasing it may be. You need to turn it off and find something better to do. This does not just mean tv, it could be books, magazines, or a place you like to go to. If you see un-Godly things, things against God or his people. Do not stay. Put down the book or walk away. If you give in, the devil will find ways to use it against you. But if you walk away you are preventing evil from finding a way in and attacking you. You are winning the battle!

One of the ten commandments is not to lust after what is not yours. Our eyes are the way in which we commit this sin. Everything we look at triggers thoughts and emotions. We see things and people we want. We enjoy things we shouldn’t. Or we see something we would normally not want to do but are dragged into it because it looks fun, or interesting and gets us curious. It is all over tv, books, and the internet.
Tv, books, and more have a huge power over us. So do not forget about that either, this is one of the most common sins I have seen and been a part of in the past.

Murder, assault, rape, Are All Bad and All over TV, books, and the internet, and games too. Nothing is wrong with a good Murder mystery. But you need to be careful in the context and prevent yourself from taking part in these acts. I know not to watch horror movies because I have a vivid mind. If I do it will haunt my dreams and I will never be able to loose those images. Are you like me? I do not partake in the watching Horror movies such as “kill Bill”, “Saw”, “Freddy”, “It”… I do not want to live in fear of sleeping or of the evils in the movies, I do not need to subject myself to them to find a thrill. Even if you are not, it will affect you for a short time too. It is an adrenalin rush. Or it can cause Lust, Hunger, or fear. What we see or watch can change our mood. Example: A romantic book can leave us feeling romantic. A drama can leave us feeling sad, same goes for the other shows too. If you want a thrill ask God to excite you and he will, and with out watching or reading something horrid.

▸ Job 31:1 “I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a girl.

▸ Psalm 6:7 My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes.

▸ Psalm 13:3 Look on me and answer, O LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;

▸ Psalm 17:2 May my vindication come from you; may your eyes see what is right.

▸ Deuteronomy 4:9 Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.

3. Guard your mouth from evil!

We need to watch what we say, there is power in our words if you realize it or not. We can change a persons life with a kind work or tear a person down with a hurtful comment. We can bless or curse with our words. As Christians we are looked upon more then other people to be an example. We are watched and judged by our works and held to our words. I can’t tell you how many times I have been reminded things I have said to people I know and some I have barley talked to. Good things and sad to say some not so good.

When you are standing in faith it is your prayer, your words you lean on. Why is that any different any other time of the day? If I say I am sick when I am sick I feel sicker. When I say I am healed I feel the need to act healed and I feel better. If I say I love you when I detest you I feel love towards you. Words have power over your mind. If you say bomb on a plan they arrest you and hold you for questing, because they see it as a threat. How is that any different then when you say “Oh you know June, she wore that horrible sweater last weak, she has no taste and look at her choice in men. She will have nothing but trouble follow her.” You are cursing that person. To God it is the same thing as an attack. You should be held accountable and questioned on that as well. And what if she by chance hears that she believes it and then thus she makes it true. Sure you didn’t mean harm but what good did it do talking badly about another? If you talk about her you probably talk about others too. It doesn’t make you trust worthy for one.

Maybe you don’t gossip, but your negative? Not to others but your self. “I hate my looks, I am so ugly, no one will want me.” You’re cursing your self and preventing yourself from growth, victory, and joy. In which, it will condemn you to depression!

WORDS are powerful. I stand on God’s words in with I read in my King James, Bible called “The Word” by Kenneth Copeland’s team. The Dr’s said to my parents at my age of 2 mouths, and at age 12 I was to die. They condemned me to live no longer. However, my parents claimed Life over me, with their WORDS and prayed, believing the WORD of God and here I am 27 years old and still alive.

The devil puts thoughts in our heads, yet he cannot read our minds, good thing to remember. So if we do not speak negative he has no hold. If we speak positive and in Jesus’s name. We have power. We can heal or kill with our words. Words leave a mark in everyone’s lives and scars. So watch not only what you say to yourself but what you say to others, and what you confess out loud. Do not give the devil any more power then he already has with his lies. Do not Cures, but Bless!!! WATCH YOUR MOUTH!

▸ Exodus 4:15 And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.

▸ Proverbs 19:28 A corrupt witness mocks at justice, and the mouth of the wicked gulps down evil.

▸ Ecclesiastes 5:2 Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few.

▸ Ecclesiastes 5:6 Do not let your mouth lead you into sin.

▸ Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing the word of God”

▸ Proverbs 21:23 Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

▸ Psalms 34:13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

▸ James 1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.

▸ Matthew 12: 33-37 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

▸ Mathew 15:18-19 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

4. Guard your Ears’ form evil.

What you hear goes into your heart. If you hear Christian music and positive lyrics you are thus in a better mood then if you spend your day listening to songs with lyrics that are verbally bashing and hateful. My x fiancee is sadly proof of this. I was in a good mood with good thoughts where he was angry and resentful, until he started changing what he listened to. This also falls under guarding your words. It is also equally important to guard what words come into you.

Things’ people tell you can scar you, or bless you! What you hear goes to your heart. Angry words, hurtful words can hurt you physically. Especially if you carry them with you. (Which you should not do. One needs to forgive and let go) Do not let yourself be cursed. Only listen to things and people that will bless you. Such as radio shows, movies, tv shows, animes, audio books, and people. Hear with your heart and soul, want to lean and grow, and you will. A good way to use your ears to grow is ready your bible out loud to yourself when you have your bible study time.

▸ Mark 4:9 Then Jesus said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

▸ Matthew 13:43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

▸ Genesis 21:6 Sarah said, “God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.”

▸ Deuteronomy 4:36 From heaven he made you hear his voice to discipline you. On earth he showed you his great fire, and you heard his words from out of the fire.

▸ Deuteronomy 6:3 Hear, O Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, promised you.

5. Guard your home from Evil.

Evil has ways of sneaking into you home through movies, books, cd’s, things, and even on people. Watch what you let in your home. Your home is your rock and can easily be tainted. There are countless bible verses about one’s home. Home country, home city, and home as in a house.

One’s home is a very important place. A home is the place where: a person, family, or household lives; where somebody was born or raised or feels that he or she belongs; the place where something originated or is based; a place where a person or animal can find refuge and safety or live in security; last but not least an establishment where somebody who is in need of care, rest, or medical attention can stay or find help. Homes are very important, and you can have more the one. You may think of a friend’s house, work, school, or another place as a second home.

You would not bring in a person you know to have murdered, to a place where your family, or a beloved lives would you? No, so why would you bring things you know are harmful in one way or another into your home? I am not saying all things are evil. I am saying use common sense, and think about the long term and the whole picture. Your home is your Tabernacle, Your body is your temple. We get baptized to anoint our body for God, Jesus, the holy spirt to move in!

If you or someone in you home: is ill a lot, depressed, very stressed, feel heavy all the time. You should anoint your house and pray.

  • Don’t bring things into you home that you ADORE you may accidently turn it into an Idol if you dwell on it too much. Example: Band, Movie, Anime, Actor – posters.
  • Don’t bring in a gift or borrowed item from a person who is not a Christian and especially if you think they are into un-Christian things. Such as Wicca and New age, etc. You do not know what has attached itself to the item!
  • Do not buy something from a foreign country if you do not have peace touching it.
  • Do not invite people who are Wicca, New age, ect into your home. Not only will you open the door to trouble, but things most certainly will be attached to them but they also can leave things with you or cures your home.
Witch craft is very real! Do not doubt the power of the devil! But remember God’s Power is stronger!

6. Pray and study the Bible daily

It is important that we feed our souls with the word. Daily is best, morning, night, whenever you can. It makes your day and your time better and go smoother. If you have your study time in the morning your soul is fed early and you are more prepared for the battles a normal and not so normal day may bring on. You are starting your day with faith. If one does not study God’s word, or pray how can one grow and improve? It is not easy to keep with it, the Devil will try and distract you. But putting on your armor (praying) and taking up your sword (the Bible) you are ready for the day (ongoing battles) . You will have more peace, wisdom, and love for others. It is never easy and never will be. Know this should help prepare your self. But it is always worth it.

▸ 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

▸ Psalm 119:148 Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.

▸ Ephesians 6: 12 -18 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

7. Be a living example.

We are watched, we are living in glass homes so to speak. Everywhere we go, all we do is being watched by others. Even those we love watch us. We are held accountable to what we say and do. We are looked upon as examples of a Christian and a person who has a personal relationship with God. People are moved by examples. If we have peace in a bad situation, if we show love where love doesn’t seem to be deserved, if we show forgiveness to those who wronged us, if we stand up for what is right. We can change lives. We need to do all the above for ourselves, for those we love and more importantly for those who need and a good example of God’s overflowing Love!

In the end we need to all use common sense when living. Follow the Laws of out country and look for the peace inside.. If you do not have peace about something get away. You know that little uneasy feeling you get when your doing something wrong or planing on it. Well it shows up at other times too. It is called discernment and it guides you. So listen and follow it. I know it is not always easy to hear it, that is when we need to wait on a decision and pray about it till we get peace or a no!

▸ Mark 13:23 So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time.

▸ Matthew 13:16 But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. going to show you, for that is why you have been brought here. Tell the house of Israel everything you see.”

▸ Deuteronomy 5:28 The LORD heard you when you spoke to me and the LORD said to me, “I have heard what this people said to you. Everything they said was good.

▸ Deuteronomy 30:14 No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.

▸ Deuteronomy 5:29 Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!

▸ Ephans 6:19-21 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:

▸ John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches,” said Jesus. “If a man abides in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

▸ Ex 20:3-4 (NIV) “You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.”

▸ 2 Kings 17:15 (NIV) They rejected his decrees and the covenant he had made with their fathers and the warnings he had given them. They followed worthless idols and themselves became worthless. They imitated the nations around them although the Lord had ordered them, “Do not do as they do,” and they did the things the Lord had forbidden them to do.

▸ James 4:7-10 (Phi) Be humble then before God… You are sinners: get your hands clean again. Your loyalty is divided: get your hearts made true once more. You should be deeply sorry, you should be grieved, you should even be in tears. Your laughter will have to become mourning, your high spirits will have to become dejection. You must humble yourself in the sight of the Lord before he will lift you up.

▸ Ezekeal 36:25 (NIV) “I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.”

▸ 1 John 5:21 (NIV) Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.

▸ Exodus 15:11 Who is like unto thee, O Jehovah, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

▸ Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

▸ Ephesians 6: 23-24 Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity.

Amen.

Jesus is the way to heaven!

Jesus is the way to heaven! magnify
How many people do you know who believe in God? A lot? I do, Most people I know believe in God. But – How many do you know that believe in Jesus. Are you brave enough to ask them? It took me a while when I was a teen to get up the nerve, because I was afraid to damage the friendship or be looked at oddly. When I was a child, I had no trouble talking about Jesus, because I did not care what others thought of me. When I was seventeen, I went through many situations and ordeals from age twelve till now! They have changed my life for the better! And it opened my eyes to how Amazing God and Jesus really are. Not every one has had such serious ordeals and some go the opposite way when they happen. They get mad at God and run away form him instead of remembering it is “He” who has delivered you out of the situation. I pray no one has to go through such rough situations, but sadly they happen.

Jeremiah 31: 3 I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love.
With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.

Hebrews 13:5 (b) “I will never fail you.
I will never abandon you.”

http://explorefaith.org/world.html My mother taught me the same thing but they explains it just as well..

And some never open their hearts at all to God, unable to grasp his wonderful peace and overflowing Love because they choose not to believe in Jesus.

Romans 10: 9-13 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

John 14: 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Once we accept Jesus, the word of God, and all that is of God is so much easier to understand. It is like we are blinded till we take that test of faith. Unless you have opened your heart and done so you will have trouble understanding what I am saying. There is not other way to heaven, Jesus is the only way. It is hard to say because I don’t want anyone to go to Hell but there is nothing I can say to change that. God gave us free will and provided the way for us to get to heaven and be forgiven of ALL sin.

Replace the word “world” with your name, John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.because you are his child and then re-read it again. For God so loved YOU! Hits you doesn’t it. I know it hits me hard. We all face trials. I faced one of my won today.

I had a very intense day. God is a good God and I am very blessed. I am on a blood thiner, due to my heart condition, I have been on it since I was seventeen years old. Well sometimes my blood is to thin and sometimes to thick. Today it was too thin and it gave me a scare, I was coughing up blood when I woke up. So I went to the ER and they did not find anything that would have caused it, Thank God! They assume it was a bloody nose. Sometimes I forget how good God is in times of fear. Today was a good reminder he is a good Father and he takes care of his children..

John 17:1-4 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

It is now up to you to make that decision. Will you, have you accepted Jesus into your heart? If you have done so, and accepted Christ into your heart. It is now your job to spread God’s love and Jesus with others. NOW is the time the world, to know! God’s children need to hear they are loved. Sure we will be judged for doing so. But I care more about what God thinks of me in the end then what others do. And I want to save as many people form hell as I can.

If you have a friend that is not a believer and no matter what you say effects them, just pray for them to have God open their heart and know you at least planted the seed. It is now between them and God. Just be a good example and be there if they have a question. Do not debate God, just state facts and leave them. Debating solves nothing. It is only used to show two sides of an opinion. Arguing never solves anything Love always wins.

Read the book of John in the Bible and Romans I highly suggest it. http://www.bible.com Is where you can read it online if you do not have or know where your Bible is.

Romans 1: 16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes

Amen!! (So Be it!)

God Bless you Today and Always,

~Faith, Sin, Promises, & Blessings~

~Faith, Sin, Promises, & Blessings~ magnify
Genesis 1-49

I have been reading Genesis 1-49 the past months.. Very good, some parts can be a bit hard to get though.

It starts out talking about how the EVERYTHING was created, how we all became full of sin, because Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. And that they were kicked out of Eden because of apple, where there is now tall angels guarding the entrance to Eden holding swords. WOW… So much happened in such a short time.

Then it goes on to talk about their first sons’ children Cain and Able. About the first murder of how Cain killed Able over jealousy, and how Abel’s blood called out to God. Could you imagine hearing someone’s blood crying? Cain then fled in fear from God banished never to come back, and eventually killed himself.

Then it continues about how the people on earth had become corrupt and evil, so God instructed Noah, the only believer there, to build an Arc and take his three sons, their wives, his wife, and two of every animal, male and female. Therefore they could repopulate the earth. Then for forty days and forty nights it rained. When it was done raining, Noah and the others waited for all the water to dry up, and sent out a dove, it came back with nothing. Then he sent it out again and it came back with a branch, and the third time he sent the dove out it did not return, so Noah knew they could all finally leave the boat. And as a promise that God will never flood the earth again he put a Rainbow in the sky as proof to his commitment. Wouldn’t you like a commitment like that? Well it is for you too!! He promised no more floods like that ever again.

After a great deal of time, the bible talked about the generations up till Abra who God renamed Abraham, meaning Man of many Children or Nations, and gave his barren wife a child in her late age of one hundred, and they named him Isaac.

And lastly, then God asked Abraham to Sacrifice Isaac. Abraham, the good man he was, did as God told him to and escorted Isaac up the mountain, prepared the alter, and was about to sacrifice his son when God stopped him and gave him a ram to sacrifice instead. God was very pleased and blessed Abraham and his family..

Wow a lot happened in just those forty nine chapters in the beginning of the Bible. What do you make of all this?

1. We are all sinners and have fallen short of the glory of God.

2. We are all tested and go through trials.

3. We are all blessed of God!

4. We are all forgiven of our sins!

5. God keeps his commitments to us. No matter how absurd or impossible they seem

6. No matter where we go or what we do God is always here watching us.

7. And No matter what, we are Loved!

Bible Verses:

Colossians 4:6 Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

Psalm 103:8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love

Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is rewarded of them that diligently seek him.”

Hebrews 11:1 “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not see.

Jeremiah 31:3 “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love.
With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.

Are You Lost?

are you lost? magnify

Lost?

Have you ever had a day where you were searching for something and you were sure you knew where it was, but then you went there and what you were looking for was not found? So you keep searching…? I can’t tell you how many times I have been in that situation.. Isn’t it frustrating? However, once you forget about the thing you’re searching for, you find it nine times out of ten.

This not only applies to martial things but also to physical, emotional, and spiritual things as well. Here are some things I have searched for: a husband to feel needed and wanted; A purpose in life, to feel important, and to know where I am going; My keys, I am always misplacing them; and for a fiery passion towards God, my spiritual needs.

As a teen I went through a very rough break up, a lot of health situations (Heart surgeries, comas, strokes ect.) I became furious at God and I doubted his care for me. I started looking elsewhere into other things. But what I found was more pain, more anger, and everything I didn’t want. The same goes for looking for my purpose and other things, I felt less important, and less needed then I ever wanted to feel. I was doing everything except trusting in God to take care of me and my needs, emotionally, physically, financially, and mentally…

Thankfully before my third surgery I was shown how I had changed for the worst and I hated the new me. I was cruel, controlling, angry, and not the Amy I was. I had become someone else someone I despised. I went back to church not knowing what to do and I joined in the before service praise and worship prayer meeting. And during the worship I heard the song “Draw me Close To You” and I did. I asked for his forgiveness and I found peace. Such an intense peace I could not have comprehended it to request it. It changed my life.

So while I was looking for an escape I found things I didn’t want and when I finally gave up and let God. And I found something much better. I have lost many things sometimes it takes me days to find. I get panicky and frantic but then I remember I need to pray and soon after I find what I was looking for.

Don’t get caught up in the bad, even though at times it can be very overwhelming. Because with God anything is possible and he will open doors for you and give you the things or something much better. But He cannot until you give your problems up to him. Until you trust in him to take care of you, he can’t do anything. So set your pride aside and pull out your humility. Then you will see doors opening where you have never seen them before, your path will be clearer, and your heart will be lifted. It is not as easy as it sounds, it is a consistent battle, but well worth it. I can’t express how my life has changed. You just need to trust that God can do the same for you. As people say “Let go and Let God”.

That’s all for now,

God Bless you, Merry Christmas, Happy New year, and Thank you for reading.
