That did not go as I planned

Hello There,

As you know in my last Vlog I mentioned going on a big trip. I was really excited to go and had been looking forward to it for a very long time. However,  I went to the hospital instead. Click on the link for more info if you are interested. I didn’t wanna post the same thing twice. Here are the links instead: https://amyjanesandberg.com/2019/07/30/this-happened/  https://amyjanesandberg.com/2019/08/02/two-weeks-later/  Just in case you don’t follow my personal blog. This post and Vlog will be here and can be found at:  https://amyjanesandberg.com/2019/08/09/three-weeks-after/

This is Amy’s fifth faith video blog.  It is a short vlog I didn’t have enough time to say everything on my heart so I will post it below, watch it and then read the stuff below this, please.

It’s natural to be scared just be careful okay. God didn’t put you through the hard times… But God is there with Jesus, and The Holy Spirit helps you through it all.

i-am-with-you

You need to know you can claim your healing. Mathew 7:7 (listed below) We live on a planet that is full of imperfection because Adam and Eve chose to eat the apple.  But Jesus God tried to rectify that by sending Jesus. John 3:16 (listed below) Isaiah 53: 1-7 (TLB) But, oh, how few believe it! Who will listen? To whom will God reveal his saving power? In God’s eyes[a] he was like a tender green shoot, sprouting from a root in dry and sterile ground. But in our eyes there was no attractiveness at all, nothing to make us want him.  We despised him and rejected him—a man of sorrows, acquainted with bitterest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way when he went by. He was despised, and we didn’t care. Yet it was our grief he bore, our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, for his own sins!   But he was wounded and bruised for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace; he was lashed—and we were healed!   We—every one of us—have strayed away like sheep! We, who left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet God laid on him the guilt and sins of every one of us! He was oppressed and he was afflicted, yet he never said a word. He was brought as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he stood silent before the ones condemning him.

📖Bible Verses:

✞ John 3:16 (TheLivingBible) For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son[a] so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

✞ Matthew 7: 7 – 8 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (King James Version)
✞ Psalm 37: 4 Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. (New International Version)

✞ Hebrews 13: 5 – 6 “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,” so that we confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. “What will man do to me?” (New American Standard Version)

✞ John 10: 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (King James Version)

You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them. (New International Version)

Guess What

📡Guess what- You are not alone, you are not forsaken, and you are loved!

📍 1 Peter 5:7 – Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

📍Deuteronomy 31:6 New International Version (NIV) Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsakeyou.” (KJV)

📍 Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose. (KJV)

📍 2 Timothy 1:7 – For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (KJV)

📍 1 John 4:10-12 (NRSV)
In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Faith Always

Do you ever feel torn about what be to do? You pray for answers and guidance but you don’t see, feel or hear an answer. That doesn’t mean nothing’s happening. I believe God is there fighting your battles. It may seem hope, or you’re feeling angry and in distress. I know right now I’ve been feeling all that. I had trouble understanding how anything good could come out of this. Yet God has been using this trial for my benefit. I’ve met some awesome new people, and pre existing relationships with people have been deepened. I’ve also been growing in my faith, renewing myself confidence and the passion I have for life.

Here’s some songs and verses I pray that will help you as well.

I first found this song on the radio before it was even out on cd. When my dad was in the hospital and having complications during a bypass sugery. Today, my mom sent it to me just when I needed it for my own battle. Music helps, especially praise and worship!!!

📖Bible Verses:

✞Philippians 4:13 (TLV)
I can do all things through Messiah who strengthens me.

✞ 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

✞Joshua 1:9 (NKJV)
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

✞ John 10:10 (NRSV)
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

✞James 1:1-7 (NLT) Faith and Endurance

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. 6 But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.

✞ Matthew 6:25-34 (NLT)“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God[a] above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

KNOW and Do

Part 1 and 2 videos by Greatfuly Restored: “Know and Do part 1 and Part 2” Uploaded with the YouTube studios app since I’m unable to get on a computer at this time. I will update preview to images and the discretions next week. We didn’t want to wait until next week to share. We also wanted to try something new. Let us know if you like this new close up format vs how it was done before please and thank you!

🎤This isn’t an easy topic to discuss, but because of Jesus, we have a choice to be forgiven and redeemed. God loves you and there is no such thing as a perfect person. You can not earn your way to heaven. It is a choice you make to ever believe or not believe. Once you accept Jesus it cannot be taken away unless you decide you do not believe anymore or if you denounce Jesus. According to the Bible. God knows your heart and it is your personal walk… Ask – Seek – Knock…

📖Bible Verses:

✞ Ephesians 1: 7 (New International Version)
In him, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

✞ Galatians 3:13 – 14 (King James Version)
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

✞ Proverbs 15:24 (New King James Version )
The way of life winds upward for the wise,
That he may turn away from hell below.

✞ Romans 6:23 (English Standard Version)
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

✞ 2 Peter 3: 8-9 New Life Version (NLV)
Dear friends, remember this one thing, with the Lord one day is as 1,000 years, and 1,000 years are as one day. The Lord is not slow about keeping His promise as some people think. He is waiting for you. The Lord does not want any person to be punished forever. He wants all people to be sorry for their sins and turn from them.

✞ John 3:18 (English Standard Version)
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

✞ Colossians 1:12-14 (New International Version)
and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

✞ Romans 10: 9 -10 (New International Version)
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved

✞ John 1:12-13 (New International Version) Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

✞ Matthew 7:7-8 (New International Version)
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

✞ Revelation 3: 20 (Living Bible)
“Look! I have been standing at the door, and I am constantly knocking. If anyone hears me calling him and opens the door, I will come in and fellowship with him and he with me.

✞Isaiah 43:1-3 (New Life Version)
But now the Lord Who made you, O Jacob, and He Who made you, O Israel, says, “Do not be afraid. For I have bought you and made you free. I have called you by name. You are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. When you pass through the rivers, they will not flow over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned. The fire will not destroy you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, Who saves you.

🧩As God Promised Jacob then, He promises it for you now, as well now. The rainbow is Gods Proof that he is for us not against us. That was before Jesus came to think about how much more we have now with Jesus.

🥁 You are Loved and you are blessed and you are redeemed if you wish to be.

✞ Isaiah 40:1-2 (New Life Version)
“Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God. “Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, That her warfare is ended, That her iniquity is pardoned;
For she has received from the Lord’s hand Double for all her sins.”

✞1 Samuel 16: 14 – 23

Two New Vlogs

Hello there, it has been a while. We have two new Vlogs for you. So exciting!  We do these for you because it is not easy to put ourselves in front of a camera exposing ourselves and our weaknesses.  However, we love you and we want to share our journey and our faith with you.  Honestly, it helps to see what others are going through and to be encouraged right. So enough talking from me. Without further ado the vlogs:

This is Gratefully Restored’s third vlog introducing her self and sharing more experiences. References are under show more.

✞ Luke 22 :16 – 20 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. (King James Version)

✞James 5: 13-16 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

✞John 16: 23 “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.”

Howdy.

Hello,

I am sorry I have been so quiet lately.  Life keeps us busy and we get sidetracked. I will be working on keeping a better schedule with updates and posts. I often forget about the blog because of our Facebook page. I plan to work harder to not let that happen. A year 2018 ago this month we decided to do some Vlogs. Well, I  Amy, did. I made a  Youtube channel and a twitch account. I uploaded two videos to start with. Then we had a family emergency and things were put off till Christmas 2018 when someone else “Gratefully Restored”  decided she wanted to join in on the vlogs.  We got a camera and a program and did a few test runs. I am extremely excited to say the first vlog this year will be posted later today on our Youtube Channel.  You can find all our links below.  I hope you will be blessed by our hard work and love for you all.

Pray for our Leaders

✏ I care about what’s going on in the world and I  love my country. I respect the president because the Bibles says to respect your leadership and pray for the leaders. Hate gets you nowhere…No one is perfect… We all have faults. That’s why we pray for our leaders. They have guidance and wisdom to make good choices. It is as simple as that.

▶️1 Peter 2:7 <NLT> “Respect everyone, and love the family of believers. Fear God, and respect the king.” (Meaning respect the leaders/government.)

▶️1 Timothy 1: 2:1-2 <NIV> “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. “

God Knows what is going on and nothing happens without him.

▶️Daniel 2:20-23 <ESV>

“Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding; he reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him. To you, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, for you have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we asked of you, for you have made known to us the king’s matter.”

📍Submission to Governing Authorities

▶️ Titus 3:1-2 <NIV>

“Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good,  to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.”

▶️Romans 13:1-7 <NIV>

“Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.  Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.  For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended.  For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.  Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience. This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing.  Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.”

We need to stand together and pray. Not just for our government, but also each other!

▶️Matthew 12:25 <NLT> Jesus knew their thoughts and replied, “Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A town or family splintered by feuding will fall apart.
