Do your Best

Time flies so fast, choices are made, roads are traveled, plans, and dreams are made. “LIFE happens while you’re making other plans”-Unknown I first saw that quote in the movie “Kuffs” it is a truth that is more real over the past years than it has ever been in my life. Don’t let disappointments broken plans and broken dreams get you down because God’s got a plan. Do your best and make the most of every opportunity. Don’t have regrets follow your heart and listen to God. Don’t overthink because that’s a sure way to get stressed out emotional and crash. I know from experience. 4 years ago I took a huge leap of faith and moved across country I let go of the reins and I let God start guiding me completely it hasn’t been the easiest road but it sure has been a wild adventure and I look forward to what God has for me in the future. “All things work for good for those who love the Lord” -Romans 8:28 Hold on to that when the going gets tough and remember you are never alone! ya

Have a Servant’s Heart

Dear Friends,

We Christians are called to have a Servant’s heart. A servant heart is a precious gift.  A heart after people, a heart of Love. I am often reminded of how even Jesus washed feet of his disciples. (Matthew 26:14-39; Luke 22:24-27; John 13:1-17) It takes a lot to set aside your self to serve others. And even Jesus Did it! I am not saying go wash some ones feet. I am saying we are called to serve others, And God will bless you more it. When you serve, you are taking time to show others how important and special they are. That’s Love. I was once asked “Even in serving aren’t you being selfish still? Because you’re doing it expecting something.” Yes I’m expecting God to work through me to bless you. Or whomever I’m led to serve… I write and pour out my heart you you all. Because I truly care about you. (Does that make me selfish. Maybe… But if so I think in a good way.) That love I have only grew as I gave my life to God’s will. Your pastor is a Servant. It takes a strong person to serve. Because it’s not a easy job. a servant gives up a lot, such as: free will, pride, wants, control, even some freedom. You don’t have to do all that, maybe God has not called you to be a servant. But we all serve from time to time. next time you do ask yourself. Is my heart in the right place as I do this. Below are some more Bible verses on having a servant’s heart…

Open your heart

There is no one like our Father God! I couldn’t even imagine what it is like to be Him. Imagine how Hard His role must be. How His heart must break at our denials Of His love for Us. I could imagine He frowns at our bad decisions even tho He’s set out the paths for us to follow. He is a Wonderful Father. I am so thankful for Him. The best thing about Him is His Amazing Love that never ceases! Even if we feel like we don’t deserve it, because we don’t. But He loves us anyways!
